Which one is best???

Out of these rounds at 25 yards say my target is wearing a standard kevlar jacket and i shoot him in the chest which of these rounds has the best kevlar piercing/damaging power?? 357sig,10mm,.45acp,40s&w. Also what round would you suggest due to clip compacity,power,etc.??

Go to your local department and ask or go buy a vest from a supplier and test it out. I highly doubt anyone will answer this.

If I may, futurecop, your question raised eyebrows because such queries could fail you in the psyche eval. I believe that you would be better served if you queried on how to score high on oral boards, or what kind of education will make you look more attractive to prospective agencies. Asking how to defeat body armor, irrespective of your intentions, will probably be counter productive as you have seen here.

Sorry but if we don't know you then we are not going to answer a dangerous question like that. No one is that stupid on here to give you that information. Just because you say your a future cop and that Thefuturecop is your screen name means jack to us. Who in their right mind would want something that would penatrate a ballistic vest? A criminal would want that. I used to shoot my old vests after i would get a new one but that was becase I wanted to see if they really lost thier stregenth after so long.

If I were you I would forget about the question and work on other more productive things beside tryign to figure out how to get a bullet through a cops vest.
