    Angry

I think the cops here get their rocks off by pullling people over and giving them tickets.

So cops get their rocks off for oulling people over and giving them tickets you say. I bet your tune would be different if you were in volved in a wreck because some jackass blinded you with his high beams. Dim beams or not they were noticable enough to warrant the stop. Your Please Pitty me attitude isn't cutting the mustard. You are responsible enough to know that when something like that on your car breaks FIX IT. It don't take a ticket nor a rocket scientist to see that it is broken and needs to be repaired. Statements like the one you made above is uncalled for and will not be tollerated from a troll. I say go back under your bridge. Complainers like you are one reason why cops have attitudes. Fix your dam switch or what ever it is so that this don't happen anymore. Also you should be able to tell when your highbeams are on by the motorists flashig their lights at you. It don't take a simpleton to figure that one out.

Mood of the day:  for your wiseass half whitted lame-brained idiotic remark shown in the gray box at top of my post. We now return to our regularly scheduled program.

    1. The cop is not "getting his rock off" by giving you a ticket. You had your high beams on, which presents a danger to oncoming traffic.
    2. Radar doesn't lie. Sorry. My guess is if you were polite to the cop and didn't ask to see the radar and argue, you might have gotten off. (BTW, I call B.S. Most cops would laugh at you for asking to see the radar readout).
    3. Go away. You had a polite response to your question and then started acting like an @$$.
take it easy, man. i said the cops HERE...not you or anyone here.

and that was not the first time a police officer has let me see his radar after being pulled over for speeding. why would you laugh at someone for asking to see your radar? myself, i'd like to see proof that i was actually doing the accused speed if i didn't know for sure otherwise. because when you go to court it's aleways the cop's word over yours.

damn, a little worked up are you? no need to be so defensive...i didn't say ALL cops get off on pulling people over and writing tickets.

like i said before. i didn't notice the light was broken until the officer pulled me over. it must have went out right before i met the cop, because nobody, that i recall, flashed there lights at me.

i'm not looking for pity...only advice on the situation.

Are you calling them a liar then if they don't show you the radar???

Michigan: Officer do not have to show you the radar at all.

I am closing this thread. It is becoming personal now. I assume that the question has been answered sufficiently.
