OMG! Its nice to see other officers screw around like that too. We key our mics and scratch the face of the mic, like we are scratchin our nuts! LOL

We do it whenever someone gets cocky. Its a good laugh.

Or another we do is turn our portables on in the car and key up the car radio. The two in close proximity to each other gives off an unearthly squeal. OOOOO, makes me cringe just to hear that.

I can't remember the remember the plate, but there is a plate that is registered to a Mike Hunt and the guys will run that from time to time to mess with the new dispatchers. There is also another running around that is registered to a, get this, Big Boy Steel Erection company. :D That one gets run a lot too.

Wish I could! We contract out with a large agency for dispatching and are nowhere near the dispatchers cars, but it would be fun.

With our mdc's in each cruiser, it deosn't quite work as well for us. !!

We just do the rapid mike clicking when a dispatcher screws up royally.

Or key it up and bounce it off the steering wheel a few times. Hell, we do that to the guys on the street if they say something particularly boneheaded.
