Funny that insurance would be brought up since we just moved to the Virgin Islands and we are wondering what we are going to do about our auto insurance. Some funny food for your brain, here in the islands I think insurance is pretty useless for anything other than liability because people bang into each other all the time but it's acceptable to just honk and wave and just keep going. VERY DIFFERENT, but they do drive on the left here. EEEEASH!! Doesn't surprise me though because the standard rule for drinking & driving here is....."If a person is driving under the influence and should happen to hit another motorists, it is mandatory for the person that hit the vehicle to give the other motorist a ride anywhere they need to go". Insane, I know....but nevertheless true. As far as insurance, in the state of Georgia it goes as Solego mentioned also....if you let your insurance lapse the DMV gets the information and a warrant for your arrest is put out until you provide proof. Also weird.
TTS, I appreciate the tidbit. Thanks for the help.
