The Danner Arcadias ROCK! They are very comfortable (more so after they are broken in) and last forever. Mine are due for resoling (and they are worth it!).
The Adidas GSG9s are very comfortable, but tend to fall apart quickly.
The Oakley boots are every bit as comfortable as the GSG9s, but they look to be a little more durable.

Pro boots if you can find them as worn by the SAS, like going to work in a pair of carpet slippers.

I recently bought a pair of Original S.W.A.T. zippered boots...they rock! Very comfortable, like wearing a shoe.
Danner, Matterhorn are both great boots.
I wil let you know on the Force Recon as my pair came in yesterday.
(non LEO, just responding to the zipper boots comment)
I have a pair of Doccers (cappers) with the zipper attachment (zipper laces in to the boot using the eyes, and then you can use the zipper to take the boot on/off. Very comfy.
Whatever fits your feet well.
I've always heard good things about teh original SWAT boots, but I still stick with the 'normal' Altama's

The Oakley's are the new must have around the guys I know. You can get them at a pretty decent price if you are law enforcement. (I am old fashioned and still just wear standard issue jungle boots). :D
Brand is irrelevant as long as its a good one. The absolute most important thing you can do is make sure they FIT. I don't mean kinda fit, or will fit after a break in, I mean fit NOW.
I sport the Rocky TMC Duty boot. Great boots. Going on my third pair.
