Having a pysch interview any suggestions

I failed my first psych interview. Has anybody ever failed and than re-taken
another test and then passed and went on to get hired.

Same here, but they are giving me a chance to take it again and pass. I have it in about 2 weeks. They are letting me retake only the protion i scored low on. Once i pass this test i will officially be hired on and ready to go to the Academy in July.

Depends on why they failed u. My brother failed because they didn't think he had the experience/temperament to deal with undisciplined people because he'd been in the Air Force for like 9 years. They advised him to become a volunteer part-time officer to gain a year's experience and see how he dealt with it.

One year later he went back with a glowing recommendation from his Sarge and redid the psych, passign with flying colors. He's on patrol now.

I applied for the state of california. Hospital police officer. And they said i was lacking in interpersonal skils. I have a question. how would you answer (why do you want to become a police officer)

just answer it honestly that's all. My friend told me all about his pyschological and some of the questions were outrageous, but you just have to be honest with the answers.
