    What to study?

    I live in new jersey an am planning on going to go to college next year and want to know what i should major in. Im planning on becoming a New Jersey State trooper. What would be good majors?

    English, Grammar, etc. Any major where basic skills are enhanced would be good. CJ or other legal classes are not really necessary.

    Major in whatever interests you. Just try sticking to it and getting your AA, BA, or BS. Any type of degree from college well show that you have some sense of education and writing ability along with commitment. I have an AA in Liberal Arts and I am finishing my BA in Criminal Justice just because I find it interesting. Major in what you will enjoy learning about. The academy will teach you what they want you to know anyways regardless of your major.

    From the look of some of the posts on this site, maybe a speling course. An maybe an grammer course to. Because when you start witing reports its importent that they look profesional.

    If you are going through the NJSP academy may I suggest you spend your down time in the gym, boxing, and on the track. Toughest academy I have ever seen.
