What do you think is the best dash strobe??

I've been looking at quite a few different brands of dash lights for my patrol car. I want something bright that gets attention. I've also been trying to decide between a stobe or led light. What light do you like the best or use? I've been looking at deckblaster, dashking, predator, etc?? Any opinions would help and a video sample would be even better. Thanks.

Dosent your dept. have specified strobe requirements? To me (I am not LE) I would just go with what the rest of your dept. uses.

I've also been looking into this. Iv'e decided on the Whelen Talon. It's not the cheapest dash light, but it is the best I've seen. Very bright and a lot of options. (21 patterns on the duel light) We have one as a rear light in an SUV and it's clearly visible from a distance.

I'll be buying one shortly in the hopes that it will increase my visabliity. I have an old strobe light bar that just doesn't demand much attention.

Saonagi..dept doesn't issue dash strobes on vehicles, however they allow you to add them i you purchase them yourself.

Madmax, ive seen the whelen talon and it looks like a good light. I just wish i could see them in person to see how truely bright they were. The 21 pattern selection is def. a good option. Thanks.. Let me know how you like it when you get it.

There is absolutely nothing that can touch the Talon. Excellent light in daytime, and of course night. Price is the only drawback.

One can only be so Open Minded before all that mind **** spills out, stains and ruins everything.

Thanks again for the recommendatoin. I will have to look into it then. Are you guys talking about the LED Talon? Thats the only one ive seen. Also, is the dual talon better than the single talon?

Yes, LED... only kind I've seen named Talon. Two are always better than one
