I did have responsibility problems, a friend pointed me to this site, as I mentioned above, as I value his advice, this was a very long time ago and I do want to resolve my old crap in a legal fashion, not "get out of it", I just don't want to waste my time and the time of officers and other public servants who have better things to do/bigger fish to fry. Driving around like a ping pong ball or sitting in a holding cell is not a great use of resources when at the end of the day the PCTX just needs thier FTA charge and the court fee.

In regards to the original question posted...
I have my doubts about anyone "who didn't know" or "doesn't know" if they have any warrants or "didn't know they were driving on a suspended license"...
    Gimme a break!

As far as the suspended license thing I believe it was a SR-22 infraction and she had moved from austin -> houston and had allowed the insurance to lapse on her vehicle. For whatever reason she did not know that this impacted her license etc whaterver.

As far as me, I haven't had a ticket or been stopped for anything for probably 6-7 years now, and when I was stopped it was a few registrations, and inspection sticker, and accidently driving on the HOV before I knew what it was. I had just moved here and learned to drive here, and wasnt really up-to-par on the whole sticker thing. I got lots and lots of tickets for it in a short period of time, and I disregarded them all.

So now I am at a point where I thought I had that all cleared up, but it appears I must have something out there. I don't have records of all the old tickets, just records of all the ones I delt with..thier warrant charges and the associated failure to appears etc.

From talking to my friend he said well if city pulls you over they may not run you for county and vice versa.. or they may decide not to mess with it. Or it may be so old they don't care.

The root of my question is this: In harris county, with all the different points of enforcement, how can you without a doubt ensure you have covered every base? obviously going into San Jacinto county jail didnt work since I obviously still have a warrant from somewhere... who has the uber computer system that searches it all for me?

That would be YOU. Sorry for the bluntness, but you are the only one that truly knows what you have and haven't done.

BTW, all warrants for our County are kept in County...... This includes warrants issued for the Incorporated Towns within the County. Easy is the Best.

Actually in Texas municipal warrants are not kept at the county level. There are some geographical areas that have a combined system for warrants.

For example, In Dallas, there is a LE regional system simply called "regional". MC and JP and County warrants are all cross-referenced on this database.
