    Oral Interviews for rookie officers

Does anyone have suggestions for hypothetical questions that are generally
    asked during a police panel?

I have experienced a few questions and not sure what the politically correct
    way to answer these questions.

    Some of these include.....

Officer stealing cash from a store while on duty.....
Officer sleeping in their patrol car and you witness him....
Transporting a prisoner and you arrive upon a traffic accident....
Traffic stop and your uncle is driving under the influence.....

These are some samples. I appreciate any imput that you may share or
    other examples.

The people on the oral boards do NOT want to know how WE would answer those questions. They want to see how YOU reason and how YOU would answer those questions.

Officer stealing Cash....Ask him what he's doing? Why? Tell him to put it back, doesn't work, bring it up to the supervisor.

Sleeping in Patrol car...Wake his *** up, why is he sleeping? Problem? Consequences, and so on.

Prisoner/Traffic Accident...Stop, make sure everyone is ok, dispatch about the accident, wait for someone to show up and either take over, or leave you to go finish transport, depending on prisoner status.

Uncle DUI....have another officer handle the situation, possibly bring him in to let him dry out, remember you have a job to do, maybe it will be a lesson to him.

Theres alot of answers, im sure others will have more opinions.
    Just be positive.

I strongly encourage others to not post suggestions for how to answer these questions. I don't want cops in MY town to be hired based other peoples thoughts rather than on their own thoughts.

Use your common sense and values. These questions are not difficult.

I 100% agree. If you can pass the oral on your own, you can be feel good knowing that you did it without help. Your hypo questions though are on the right track.
