This could greatly impact your ability to become a police officer.... It'll depend a lot on the department, but with most any department, you'll have to go through a battery of medical tests to evaluate your condition. If your doctor determines that this was a one time issue caused by some particular circumstance or incident, you might have better luck... Good Luck!! ...and get checked out...

No doubt have this looked into immediatley, I say this not only because your ability to persue a LEO carreer can be effected by it, but it could be a cause for greater concern in your everyday life & is something that not only you need to be aware of if there is a potential problem, but those close to you, as well!
My sister had them as a child very often, all of us siblings knew what to do, ect. They left her about mid-teens & she was fine, then 1 day when she was in her 30's, she had another one out of the blue, while pulling into a gas station in her company truck, things went really bad at that moment as you can imagine, I am surprised she survived the crash & the seizure, this cost her alot, simply because she was unaware that they can re-occurr later in life without warning. I am not trying to freak you out or scare you hun, just please have this evaluated closely & professionally just in case & the best of luck to you in all things! Keep us posted if you wish.
