PA no longer has a helmet law but seatbelts are still required. Kinda crazy to me. IF I still rode a cycle, I WOULD wear a helmet. It IS about choice, I want to all the protection for my head I can get.

i had just been posted to a new station and was not that familiar with street names.....i accidently put the wrong street name on the ticket for a no seatblet.

the guy fought it in court and the judges ecact words were....and i love it....

" so Mr Smith.....you say you are not guilty because the officer wrote west street instead of north street?.....well i find you guilty, because as far as i know the laws, it is just as much an offence to not wear a seatbelt on north street as it is anywhere else"

i did get a slight reaming for not knowing the area, but it was worth it!!!
