I went through the full process for Dallas Police and passed every part, but failed the MMPI. I interviewed with the psycologist who stated the interview went well and my background is very clean, however their there three points on the chart on the MMPI that were over the 70% mark. He stated that it showed I had deep ceeded anger, aggression, and possible risk for use of force violations.
This was my first time taking the MMPI. I'm working as a campus cop and p/t police officer for a small town for the past 6years. These things the psycologist stated were never proven in my life. I have never been diciplined within my department, nor ever had a use of force violation and I don't consider myself as an anger person at all. Is there a way to figure out what I might of answered incorrectly to avoid this again. I know most large departments use this MMPI for there testing.
Thanks
Josh (24yrs old)
