    Medical

I was just wondering if someone knew if I had had a back operation a few years ago if it would medically disqualify me from joining NYPD? I am fine today with no restrictions what so ever on my activity?

Probably not if it was in your past. But be ready to provide teh following:
    1) ALL MEDICAL records...get them before you go to your mini-medical. Have them with you to give the doctor.
    2) Go to your family doctor now. Get a note saying the back surgery is in the past and has no affect on you today and you could fullfill the duties of the nypd officer descriptiopn without limitation.
