Arrest????? Reporters would write it up as soon as it is known...

You don't really expect the arresting officer of Michael Jackson to write back in this thread do you? J/K :D

May be "pull over" would bring more responses...!!!

I haven't, but, a department here in Wisconsin arrested the Attorney General (top law enforcement offical for the state) for operating while intoxicated after driving her vehicle off the road. She also refused to take any of the required tests!

Many of the rich and famous do not drive, they have hired drivers. Anyone can get arrested, getting convicted is another matter. Professional athletes or notable college athletes are probably the most flagrant example of a double standard in the CJ system.

That is outrageous, why shouldn't they be given a ticket and what puts them above the law

The older sports fans may know this one. I don't want to burn anyone so i'm not going to say the guys name.

Back in the 70's my father gave a speeding ticket to a guy who played football for the Raiders and went on to become a professional drag racer.
The guys attorney showed in court for him because he was out of town for game.

I haven't but one of my co-workers arrested Jose Canseco years ago, and I was the back up officer on a traffic stop of Woody Harrellson's(sp) driver...Woody is was in the back seat. Woody's driver got off with a warning...
"It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily. "So it is." "And freezing." "Is it?" "Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."

I stopped a woman for speeding on a Sunday morning ( 53/35 ), she immediately told me that " I am a personal friend of Congressman Bill Goodling ! " I informed her that the congressman will be sorry to hear she got a ticket.

When they hired me they got more than they bargained for. I still like going to work after 18 yrs. In between all of the serious things that we have to deal with , I still enjoy my job. And they pay me to do this !!
