    FD 1st Responder Vehicle

I'm a firefigher for my local volunteer fire department. We've recently purchased
a 2002 Ford Expedition to be used as our main 1st Responder for the watch leader. Me and one of the other guys have been put in charge of outfitting the Expedition with a lighting system. Any suggestions on any lights ( lightbar, strobes, LED, wig wags, scene lighting, etc.) Keep in mind that we are a volunteer FD so our budget isn't that large.
    Thanks

Write or contact every public safety agency within a few hundred miles. Maybe someone will donate some equipment they are changing out. Don't be picky. If it's red, blue, and has a siren bolted to it, and it's free.........................well you get the message.
Trust me, it's not the jeans that make your butt look fat!

Agree with Chief Wiggum. Look for a dept that is changing over to different cruisers or just selling some and will probably strip them before allowing the public to buy. You are the perfect candidate to get them free or cheap. Spend your money on other stuff you HAVE to buy.

It might be worth it to contact some of the manufacturers, ie. code 3, tomar, whelen, etc. I know that occasionally they will test outfit vehicles for depts. Amen to what was said before. You can't beat free stuff
My wife left me alone with a case of Corona, a bag of limes and the cat. Beer is gone. What will I do with the extra limes and the cat?
