For a LEO, you sure are assumtuous & quick to shut down anyone who isnt just like or in complete agreement with you, knowing nothing about them, my guess is your a rookie/young'in who certainly has a bit to learn still... I do have experience & in the training of LEO, I was a 'civilian' instructor under contract by more then a few PD agentcies for several years, while also working for D.O.D. in a similar slot for the USMC, after serving with distinction in the U.S. Army for a bit. I know alot about honor as well, it goes beyond ones self-important role..I have been out of the loop for a while & am now getting back in, testing for local PD, but I do not need to qualify or compare my background with you Sir, it holds it own without any help or verification from you, I just disagree & am rather concerned, (along with a few others here), with some of what you stated & your supposed "training" concerning CCW holders &/or the presence of a weapon in a vehicle during a contact, I see glaring contradictions & hypocricies, but at my last check I had the right to disagree & be concerned, unless this poses a threat to you as well..

All right everybody...I knew that this thread would not last forever without someone starting this up...Recondo, how dare you come in here on your seventh post and start this bull****. We have had a good discussion going on here for a few days with myself and non LEO's alike. I have absolutely no training in CCW permit holders and never said that I did so you can slash that contradiction out of your head. Have I really shut down the people that disagreed with me? I don't think I have. If I had then why is this discussion on its fifth page now?
You have absolutely no LE experience. Being a civilian instructor does not give you experience at enforcing the law. And who do you think you are calling me a rookie? One who has never even put on a badge. I have seen more action on the streets in my few years than you will in your entire career, if you make it past the psych. If you see contradictions or hypocracies then pull them out and show us rather than making blank statements about being concerned. I, unlike you, am trained to deal with people with guns and have numerous times already in my career so I do have things to back my statements up and they are a little different than the civilian books that you taught out of. I actually started laughing when I read your response because of how ignorant it was.
