I'm going to take an unpopular stance here, but a BUG does not have to be a companion to whatever fullsize duty weapon you have. The reason that you have a BUG is to extricate yourself from an extermely bad situation. It's not a weapon that you would use to get into an extended gun battle with. Yes,baby Glocks are nice to have cause ot the interchangable mags. But really and truly they are too heavy and wide to be worn as a BUG. The micro Kahr's would be a better choice as far as size and weight are concerned. I personally carry a Taurus Airweight .38spl as a BUG and have never felt undergunned so to speak. Every officer I know, including myself, who tried the baby Glocks as BUG's didn't wear them long. We all went to something lighter and easier to conceal. Usually some form of snubbie. Just my .02 cents worth.
Lead me not into temptation.......someone talks me into enough sh!t as it is. .

I'm not yet an officer, but I did carry a Glock 36 for a while... While it was a great firearm at the range, I did have a very difficult time concealing it, especially around the ankle... It was just too bulky and heavy... I sold it a few months ago on GunBroker.Com because it just wasn't practical....
