    Question MIP violation

Can you give me the facts on an MIP violation. Here is my situation. My first night I drank heavily at college, i supassed my limits and put myself into the hospital. I know that if a hospital deals with a minor in an alcohol related incident they are required by law to report it. However, I was never served with a ticket. I have a person who was present from the call to 911 to the admitance at the hospital who says i was never given a ticket, nor was I questioned by police. It was never requested that I give a breathalyzer , I know a warrent can be obtained to get my blood alchol level released from the hospital, but i never was foramlly asked to give a breatalyzer, are they still allowed to file for a warrent?
I recently received notice that they were issuing a warrent for my arrest because i didn't appear in court, once again I never received a citation. I plan to plead guilty to the charges, however I am frustrated with the lack of information availible about my rights. Specific information about my charges were released to my parents with out my consent( I am 19 years old) I am just wondering if you could give me a good perspective on a respectful way to argue my complaints.
I need this citation to be resolved quickly I am entering BASIC training the National Guard in one week, and i will not be allowed to enter until the charges are taken care of.
    Thank you for your time

You NEED to contact the arresting officer and ask him/her all of these questions. Not to mention, this varies GREATLY by state.

While admitted to a hospital, they did a medical blood test on you ( standard) included would have been a blood alcohol test. Those results can be obtained by the police. Perhaps an officer was there that night and saw you in your inebriated condition which is enough for me to have charged you with underage consumption, even without a blood alcohol test result.
