    Question Detroit Police Department

    I am currently in the process of trying to join the Detroit Police Department, and am interested if there is anybody out here that would like to offer advice, warnings, ????

    Don't believe everything you see in the movies. 8 mile road is just a safe as any other.

    All I know is that Pontiac, MI is a real hole. That main street behind the convention center is really nice, but anything else, forget about it.

    I was in Pontic for the Hot Rod Power Tour 2 years ago. That main street behind the convention center looked so nice and picturesque. But when I was leaving I missed the turn for Woodward Ave and drove straight into the ghetto. It was quite an experience being a pasty white kid in a muscle car having multiple people throw gang signs up to you.

    Hey Dogg...Representing on 8 Mile...It ain't that bad...I mean c'mon what other high speed road can you travel and NOT see a hooker, or deal going down? The only reason I feel safe when traveling it...is cuz I am driving pretty damn fast...LOL

    Now Ponticrack...it ain't that bad...Rolls Eyes...I need to bring you people to the real hood. LOL
