How do concealed carry laws apply to off duty police officers from New York? Thanks for your responses.

CCW Laws are different for current police officers. I know in Michigan a Police officer in this state with current certification can carry on school grounds, hospitals, bars, sporting events. The only places they can't carry off duty is on Federal Property. Civilians have much stricter laws placed on them. Also department policy has an effect on where they are allowed to carry them.

Thanks. I thought there might be differences between citizen CCW laws and off duty police officers. I didn't take into account departmental restrictions as well. I'm sure that would trump enerything. Thanks for the insight.
