Embarrasing traffic Stops?

Have you ever pulled over someone who had good reason to be embarrased? ie a guy wearing drag, or someone driving naked?

No, but I got pulled over once right in front of my house. All my neighbors came to look. I thought it was embarassing. The officer didn't know obviously that it was my second residence...but needless to say...it was still very embarassing.

We pulled over a gal once who was not wearing ANYTHING from the waist down...said she was on her way to her boyfriends apartment to surprise him! And pulled a car over that had about 20 loose chickens flapping around. I'm surprised the driver could even see where the hell he was going. All you could see from the outside were a bunch of feathers!

I am not a cop: I was on a ride-along, and in the patty wagon. The police officer went searching in one particular park area looking for after hours couples...you get the idea. Needless to say he found a few cars with some people doing the nasty inside. Don't know how embarassing it was for them, but probably not the way they wanted to end the evening.

leaving the car in drive as you get out while stopping 2 vehicles in front of a thousand spectators stuck in freeway traffic is pretty embarrassing.

Can't really think of any embarrassing stops off the top of my head,but I know of one guy who was a nutcase. I received a call from dispatch advising me of a possible DUI suspect. A trucker was behind this guy and got all the info right (I know,shocking isn't it?) as far as vehicle,tag #,location,etc. I caught up with the vehicle and started my dash cam so I could have my own PC instead of having to rely on a witness. Anyway,the car was weaving a little so I pulled it over. I walked up to the car and as I got to the driver,I noticed his left arm was down low and I could see blood on his arm. My spider sense started tingling and I told the guy why I pulled him over and asked if he was OK. He stated he was fine and I inquired as to how he got his injury. He stated that he wasn't hurt,he was just holding a snake to keep it from getting loose. I said a WHAT?!?! He said a snake. I told him to very slowly raise his arm,and sure enough,this dumb@ss had a rattlesnake by the head. So,as this was going into the "you're not gonna believe this" file,I asked him to slowly exit the vehicle while keeping a firm grip on the reptile. I wanted to get this on my dash cam. He held it up,and I swear that snake was 5 foot if it was an inch. I had to ask "WHY?" as this really isn't something you could walk away from without knowing. He said he grazed the snake with the car and stunned it,and wanted to take it home to skin it and make a belt or something. Well I wrote him a warning for Failure To Maintain Lane,wrote unable to sign on the bottom cause I disn't want him to let go of the snake,and sent him on his merry way.

It just goes to show that the gene pool just keeps getting shallower and shallower every year. :confused:

I was not personally involved in this, but the Mayor of the town that I live in ended up getting a DWI. Although he was very courtious to the officer (of the town where he is the mayor), and very complimentary. Anyway I guess he should have taken a taxi, but how would you like to be the one to pull the mayor of your town/city over for DWI?
