my comments werent directed towards you, and arent meant to be offensive, but just because someone is a LEO, he doesnt have all the answers. Many MANY times do LEO not know more then joe citizen. One day you are a civilian, next day you have a badge.....so now you are just a wealth of knowledge arent you

True Joey, one day I was a civilian and 22 yrs later , ( 4 yrs USAF Security Police and 18 yrs at my present position) having been promoted twice and being a shift supervisor I am just like a rookie in the field.

I never said I know all of the answers but I am willing to bet that I know more than you.

Yes, most younger people don't know how to handle it and usually abuse it.

PM away Darin. But take a number. I get calls from some of the guys on duty now. It seems they have taken the liberty of putting my home phone in our departmental Nextel's ( everybody takes one when they go on duty) and if there isn't a Sgt on duty...they call me. Talk about being married to the job !!

Actually everybody has a list of the ENTIRE departments home numbers but they don't all get put in the dept phones. Thats OK, they don't call for little stuff.
