Don't take life so seriously, you're not gonna get out of it alive anyway!
We only have one or two out of 46. Smoking has been banned in the building and the cruisers too.
Creeper Cop
we don't have anyone who dips, but some of us still smoke..
Used to chew tobacco....now I am a quitter.......! Only as of 1 week ago but you have to start somewhere....!
Thats messed up........now I know why I quit. Hopefully it was in time...!Originally Posted by Barenaked
Don't know how commonplace dipping is outside Texas but down here I'd say there is a likely a significant number of cops out there who dip. I really can't give you a percentage on this but I'd bet it differs depending upon the region of the county you're talking about.
Personally, I am an ex-tobacco user. I used to dip snuff, chew tobacco & smoke through high school up till I was about 25. Then, I gave up snuff and just smoked for several years till I was about 36.
I have been tobacco free for over 3-years now (will be 40 in a few weeks!). I tried using the patch in the past for a VERY short time. Did not work for me. Tried nicotine gum and hipnosis, that too did not work. Basically, I just decided enough was enough and quit by shear will power and avoiding tobacco products. It has been difficult but I feel very confident that I've ridden myself of it for good!
If possible, avoid EVER using this 'crap.' Using smoke free products is NOT a safer alternative and it is just as habit forming just like a cigarette... Hell, chew bubble gum, (I'm a closet gum chewer!), or something else that won't potentially disfigure your face or kill you... :D
