Has anybody info on the Pre-background check? I just turned in my s.p.h packet last Thursday and I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear. Does anybody know what's involved in the preliminary compared to the comprehensive? This P.D has about 7 steps to the hiring process and I'm only on my 2nd. I hope I make it to the Oral board next. I'm waiting to hear how this goes before I go on a ride along.

I'm in Oregon too! Just sit back, relax, and don't worry about it. A sheriff deputy once to me "no news is good news." Which is true. A month later I got an offer. Just go on the ride along and make some friends before you work there. Good luck!
