I heard our State Patrol [WA] Gives major points for Military. I was talking to a Trooper Recruiter and they were saying it is almost impossible to get hired on without military experience, unless you are in tip top physical and mental shape.

MSP don't give points to vets. But a lot of the departments in Mich prefer to take vets.
