drunk driver I get a ticket they don't.

Some friends and i leave a party and go down the road. The driver runs a red light witch gets us pulled over. We thought she had been sober and ok to drive here where it gets tricky. We get pulled over the officer comes up to the passenger window and immediately ask the passenger for her I.D. witch shows she is under 21. He ask he to step out and blow into a breathalyzer she blows a .110. Witch makes him have everyone get out of the car and have them all breathalyzed. I end up blowing a .023 and then the driver blow a .047 and other passenger blows .000. He says he has another call and would mail us are tickets then tell the sober person to drive home. Well its been a month and i'm the only one who has received a ticket. Now i ask how does the driver not receive a Dui with minnesota Not a Drop Law.

    any info would be great.

Why do you care? Their charges have nothing to do with yours.

There are the Glass is Half Full kind of people, the Glass is Half Empty kind of people, and the Who The Hell Drank Half My Water kind of people...

I guess the OP could always gather all the contact information for the people who "should" have also gotten tickets and forward it to the citing officer...

We can't help you with specifics because we weren't there and we aren't that officer. My best answer for you is that all officers are authorized to use discretion, and perhaps he exercised his in issuing you a citation and not the others. It is well within his authority. It turned out to be a bad day for you and a better day for your friends. Oh well. Don't break the law, and you will not get cited. You won't have to rely on luck like your friends.

If you really want to know what happened, call and ask the officer about it.

Why not get your two ticketless friends, drive to the PD with them and have them ask the cops for their tickets? I mean this all about fairness right? You want to make usre they get tickets to. Your blaming the cop and worried about fainress (which I am sure you have not voiced to yoru friends). If you take your friends in and demand their tickets, you can get what you want.

Seriously, that is your concern right now? You might want focus on more important things. Like you ability to make multiple poor decisions in one night, such as you went to a party, drank, didn't plan a sober ride home, knew a minor was drinking, and then got in a car and gave somebody else they keys who was under influence, leaving the only sober person a victim in a back seat. Bunch of great decisions that night. And now you are worried about making sure your two friends get tickets? They aware of your concern?
-In God we trust. All others, put your hands on the car and don't move.

If I were you, I would pay less attention to trying to cause problems for my -- well, they would have to be merely "acquaintances", wouldn't they? I mean, why would you want to increase trouble for friends? -- and instead would work on learning how to spell words correctly so that the rest of the world would not regard me as an illiterate ignoramus.

    w-h-i-c-h, not "witch"
    o-u-r, not "are"
    s-t-r-a-i-g-h-t, not "strait"
    c-i-t-e, not "site."

After that, you can work on capitalization, and the use of the apostrophe in the possessive case. It may not make you less spiteful, but it will make your unpleasant whining less irritating to read.

Maybe you were the kind of person that made an impression on him and he made sure yours got turned in first .
