Err, sorry for the awkward title.
What I am trying to ask is that I recently got pulled over for speeding and didn't have my insurance card in my vehicle (it is insured, just forgot to print out the card and put it in my glovebox), so the officer who pulled me over cited me for needing to carry insurance on demand, which is a correctable citation and was dismissed after I showed proof of insurance with the courthouse.
The citation appears on my public record, so my question is, do I have to put this down as having been convicted of a misdemeanor when applying to jobs? Or does this just count as a traffic violation? I have a minor consuming charge I got when I was 20 that I disclose when applying to a job, but I actually showed up to court, took the plea bargain and paid the fine for that one.
For my correctable citation no judge was assigned.
