I remember doing a ridealong with my town PD, and the first (and only call I went on with my guy) was for the trash can larceny. Waste Management makes their customers fill out a larceny report before they will replace the can.

well do what I did when I kept finding trash alll over the yard, My webcam has a feature for motion video. i set mine up in the window, and it recorded everything that moved near the can, even the damn raccoon. :D
