I am attending college to receive a business diploma, and as per signature, I have that many days of school left.

one semester left for bachelor's in business. 3.5 years left for J.D.
Do you plan on taking the bar after you complete law school? I thought about doing that path after I retire in 10 years. I have a bachelors in criminal justice administration and plan to complete an MPA from either DeVry or University of Phoenix sometime in the next couple of years depending on funds.Originally Posted by P01IC3M4N
I go to a crappy highschool right now. Plan to attend Westfield State College after highschool(CJ most likely, with a minor in bussiness or public admin) and then plan to join the USAF(Security Forces) for four years after college, Ive heard that you can be sent to some pretty cool schools there.

BA (CJ) at Union Institute in Los Angeles - they have great program for cops.
MPA (Public Finance) at Cal State Fullerton.
Just retired and entered a PhD at Touro University - online and configured for military personnel. So far, pretty good program.

Currently a junior at University of New Hampshire. I have a dual major of sociology and justice studies.
Anyone heard of justice studies and if it is useful. These programs are sprouting up everywhere apparently because the ivy leagues feel as if this is where criminal justice should be. I'm told it is the future of CJ and more and more colleges are adapting their programs to become justice studies rather than criminal justice. Any thoughts questions etc? It is a lot more interdisciplinary and includes a lot more psychology than CJ.

In august im going to the University of OhGodIWantToGoHome, on Camp Penndelton CA. More often known as Marine Corps Bootcamp. Ive signed an MP contract, and Ive heard some agencies actually take military - civilian transfers once you get out, but even if they dont, I feel the marines will get me into good physical shape to be a cop, and If Im out on an FI at 0130, and this guy decides he wants to kick my *** and "wishes I would go for that gun" and backup is 20+ Minutes away Id think the Marines would be more helpful than a CJ class. But, I do plan, If I can, to take school in the military.
