"These repeated actions suggest you lack the characteristics of dependability, good judgment, ability to work cooperatively with others, and a willingness and ability to assume the responsibilities and to conform to the conditions of work characteristic of your employment."

This is your quote sir. These attributes can be changed and improved over 6 years and they have been. The severity is low and therefore over time can be fixed. This seems like something agencies would view as fixable with maturity.

What you fail to grasp is it is THE AGENCY's opinion that matters as to whether you're employable, not YOUR's.

You COULD NOT get hired in Florida as a police officer, because you do not meet the minimum requirements here. Florida Requires an Honorable Discharge from military service, if you have served. A general discharge would make you ineligible to be a police officer in Florida. Other states 'may' be different, but I would bet that many are similar to Florida.
As far as a federal position, I couldn't state what their minimum requirements may be, but several posters on here work for various federal agencies - often in positions that would give them insight to the hiring practices of that agency. If they are telling you they would not hire you, believe it - some of them are probably the person that would make that decision. They literally receives thousands of applications, why would they take a chance on you when they have so many other prospective applicants to look at.

There are consequences for your actions/choices you made years ago. A lot of younger people fail to understand that.

Folks fail to realize theres thousands of applicants and only a handful of positions...I wonder who will get hired.. Its basic "good business"..Hire the best qualified, honest, well rounded applicant...Now apply that to LE...

I guess folks also fail to realize LE is based on the Military's basic principle system but held to a MUCH higher standard..

From the OP's attitude, no doubt. He probably got incensed that those rude DI's were telling him what to do.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

I also noticed the "can a poly be fooled (hint-hint)" previous OP thread combine with "many friends that beat them and are liars" then combine that with this thread referring to his "many" friends in Border Patrol who "committed felonies but were hired" and thats where he is applying....

Need I say more...I think Ive gotten this one figured out..I shouldve been a FBI Behavoiral Anylist...OR a rocket scientists......
