someone from my house is stealing my package. for the fourth time it got stolen again. the 3rd i got it back because the land lady said she would call the cops if my package does not come back. and then after few days someone returned it. after few months i ordered again online, and now stole it again. can i ask the police to make a search warrant? i have feeling which one of my room mates has my package and even the people who lives here know who been stealing it they just dont want to say anything or not sure. so should i call the cops or what is the best thing to do?

Set him up using hidden video on the area were the package is left. Do not video areas where the is an expectation of privacy (bathrooms etc.) Have him locked up using the video as evidence. Right now you have no proof and they certainly could not and would not get a search warrant.

After the 3rd theft I would not have packages delivered to my house anymore. But that's just me.

Nobody's going to get a search warrant for something like this. Why don't you require signatures with delivery confirmation when you have packages delivered?

Make friends with a senior citizen in your neighborhod ( shovel some snow , mow a lawn or offer to change hard to reach light bulbs ) in return to allow your packages to go to them for delivery.

its mostly clothes, shoes and watch. some of my room mates have the same feeling thats this one guy is the whos been stealing my packages. he doesnt have a job right now and always pays rent late.

i did that signature required. and he actually signed it too my package. the stupid ups guy didnt event check his id. his room is next to the main door.

did he sign your name? If so that might be a case of forgery.
