Can a convicted Non-Violent Felon in Texas buy and own a Pellet Gun and Rifle legally? I am looking for any kind of protection I can find to help protect myself from any violence that may erupt in this country due to any number of scenarios.

Just understand that a pellet gun will not be effective in the scenario of a zombie invasion.
