So the guy driving the car who has a .08 blood alcohol is only "a little drunk" and therefore should not be held liable when he crashes into your families car and kills everyone? The law is clear as black and white and drugs are illegal, small or large.

Kind of reminds me of the guy who got a ticket for going through a stop sign. He argues with the officer that he slowed down adequately so that it did not cause a risk to the other motorists and that it was in th spirit of the legislation.

The officer said, Yeah but you didn't stop.

before he could finish the arrogant driver repeated that he slowed down and nearly stopped and that by slowing down he had shown relative compliance with the law.

This went on for some time with the arrogant driver telling the officer several times that he slowed down enough to show compliance with the law and that the officer should take that into consideration and let him off.

The officer asked him to step out of the vehicle for further explanation of the law. Being an arrogant defence lawyer the driver got out thinking he would outsmart the officer further.

With that the officer began wailing into the driver with a night stick. The lawyer lay on the road tucked in a ball as the officer continued to beat him over and over again in a rapid manner....

The officer yelled at the lawyer, "Now do you want me to slow down or stop!!!"
