    Tucson Help

How does living in Tucson compare to Phoenix? I was offered a promotion in Tucson and kicking it around. Im hearing Oro Valley is the nice area to reside. Any other suggestions on the best (safest) place to live in Tucson?

Oro Valley is a nice (new) community. Relatively low crime rate.

Northeast foothills is where i liked. I think its called catalina foothills. north of the rillito river. east of campbell. All good.

las palomas, ventana canyon, sabino canyon, cimarron.

Tucson is more liberal than phx. Sort of like Austin. Not as much cultural stuff as Austin though. Sports is all University. Large Air Force base if u have access to BX.

Oro valley is nice but oracle road sucks. Might look at Starr Pass area, too, if you are working downtown.
