Hello all.

Just joined up to pose a question on a topic, though the more I read this board, the more interesting it gets.

I'm in my mid 50's, and work for state government in Delaware (going on 14 yrs), though not in law enforcement. I've worked in broad sat television production & news, spent some time in radio, and then left that field for other pursuits. Other walks of life included working as a radio & equipment installer for a small business that served the area volunteer fire departments and some local PD's in DE and southern NJ. I was afforded the privilege of training for a dispatcher position for our county, but didn't quite make it to where they needed me to be. It was definitely an education and very worthwhile.

Other interests are sailing, ham radio, and shooting.

It's a privilege to be here, thanks for allowing me to join in.

Correction: that was supposed to be "broadcast television". Gotta love automatic spelling correction.
