I'm interested in joining USMS, but I wanted to know if they had an official duty uniform, I remember going to my local federal courthouse for a school project and seeing a few Marshals with Black (or dark green) BDU's on, with USMS Federal Police and USMS back panels along with the Marshal Service badges (Both Patch and Metal versions) with them, they couldn't have been SRT or they would of carried more than just pistols and beat officer equipment.

I've searched on the internet but have found nothing on the subject and all the pictures I've seen are Marshals with Raid Jackets, longs sleeves and V-necks, please enlighten me on this subject.

No uniforms per se. Court deputies wear suits. Criminal investigator (inspector/1811) deputies wear civilian clothes (type is dependent on the situation). "082" deputies (who process prisoners) generally wear something like a blue polo or t-shirt with the USMS badge on front and khaki BDU's.

A lot of USMS "uniform" wear are the raid jackets/shirts you described.

I can't remember the last time I saw a raid jacket worn. Most are like mine, stuffed under the seat of the car, accessible in case there is some SHTF scenario where you need instant identification. I've gone through 3 cars without mine having to go on. :)

Otherwise, Goldbadger is generally right. It can vary from district to district, though. Some have some pretty silly in-house policies on attire.

BIG has raid gear: shirts, pants, boots, masks, goggles, gloves, vests, holsters, balaclavas, extra ammo, belly restraints, cuffs, ankle chains, pistols, long arms, etc, etc and his car, but both his raid jackets are on hangers in his closet at home.

Nope. But greg talks to squirrels and I bet birds listen in sometimes.

And those are "feathers", not hair.
