Hello everyone. I just took NYPD exam 2302 this past summer and I'm real anxious to start the process but I do realize that I've got to be patient and wait about 2-3 years... In the meantime I'd really like to do something law enforcement related, preferably NYPD, paid or unpaid. I'm really looking into the NYPD Cadet Corps and/or the NYPD Auxiliary. Can anyone who is currently or was at some point an NYPD Auxiliary Officer or a Cadet shed some light as to what it was like? Did you feel a sense of fulfillment? And if you went on to become an NYPD officer, do you think it helped you prepare for a career in the NYPD? Any responses will be GREATLY appreciated!
