I missed a T intersection in heavy rain tonight.
Unfortunately, the ditch is about 2 feet higher than the
roadway and I hit it at about 30 mph.
The seat belt did its job (that is why we WEAR them)
and the grill guard help the Explorer slide up on the sand in the ditch.
Some damage to the plastic and the front left tire isnt straight any more.

Hopefully we will find out how bad the damage tommorrow.:toetap05:

Now I have a Saturn vue too bad I won't be able to get a replacement for it it's been such a great suv. Hope you get it fixed

And if it was anything like a T bone I had, it took a few hours for the seat belt bruises and swelling that made breathing fun for a few days to show up. How do you feel today?

Get a tahoe. They don't try to commit suicide like that Ford did.

I now know what whiplash is. I have soreness from shoulder to shoulder
and my neck hurts.
Then everywhere the seatbelt was also hurts.

As for getting a Chevy.........NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
We tried that, they just dont hold up.
