I know I am not the only one who is confused by the administrations foreign policy. This article by Victor Davis Hanson pretty much sums it up. For all his faults, Bush knew who is friends were and deeply cared about the future of the US and the rest of the West. And he didn't much care about what the rest of the world thought about him.
