Officer Wannabe Decks Out Vehicle (http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/dpp/news/crime/officer-wannabe-decks-out-vehicle-7-13-2011)
The article doesn't say what he did that actually got him trouble. He was driving on a two lane road that merged down to a single lane for construction. The car in the merging lane was slowing down to let the wannabe pass. But he wouldn't. The he activated his lights and loudspeaker. The other driver apparently recognized BS when he saw it and called 911 while he followed the wannabe. LE career over before it started (or at least seriously delayed). He was an explorer and volunteer for the PD. Doh.

Oh grand. For whatever reason explorers seem to think they can get away with this type of stuff. What makes it even better is that once something like this happens then departments start to restrict the explorer program and officers lose their trust in us. Just like it only takes one police officer abusing his badge to give all police officers a bad name, it only takes one explorer doing something stupid to give us all a bad name. Please fellow explorers, use your head! Remember that if you break the law it reflects upon not only your explorer post, but your entire department.

It doesn't say what kind of car it was either, they just keep saying "sedan." I was hoping they'd show a pic of it or something.
