"$bbuserinfo[username], you do not have permission to access this page. This is most likely because you haven't activated your account by clicking on the email link we sent you, OR you do not have access to the restricted areas (see Supporting Members). It could also be due to other reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

---This comes up when i try to reply to a thread in the Ask-a-Cop section. I am a member so I
am confused on why i cant reply in a non-restricted area. help please! :) ---

Ask A Cop is a "semi-restricted" area.

Anyone can post a quesiton there, but only the original questioner or a "Verified LEO" can respond to someone else's question.

This is done so that there is an area where people can be assured that the only people answering their questions are Law Enforcement Officers. People who want a wider range of answerers can post their questions in General Law Enforcement Topics or other areas.

Hope that helps-
