What's the longest time it took for you to get someone's phone records and what was the reason?

That is dependent on the phone company, their legal dept, and what the subpoena is requesting. I have waited 2 months for phone records due to the amount of info I was requesting. My boss nearly lost it when he saw the bill for the research and printout of the documents.

4 months and they sent me a bill (which was promptly thrown in the trash).

I've gotten them the same day. I think the longest it took was 2 days once. Of course, that was before hi tech and they had to "fax" me the records......
The bigger the phone company got though, the harder it was to deal with them. At one time, I talked to someone here, later the person was in Denver.

Yeah but that was back when phones were two cans attached by a string.

And the records were written on papyrus.
