HONOLULU — A Hawaii-based MP from Minnesota was killed by a bomb attack in Afghanistan over the weekend.
Spc. Andrew C. Wilfahrt of Rosemount, Minn., died Sunday in Kandahar province of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improved explosive device.
The Defense Department said Monday the 31-year-old was assigned to the 504th Military Police Battalion, 8th Military Police Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command at Schofield Barracks.
