I'm not real sure where to put this, hopefully this is ok.
I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can answer, as I have been hunting the Internet for months and can find very little info.
First off, I am located in Queensland Australia.
I am interested in working as a Communications Operator (Dispatcher)
Obviously there are minimum requirements & preferred requirements.
Is anyone able to tell me what they are?
Also any advice is appreciated!
Thank you,
Gumtree

I have to go to work now, but will get back in contact with you soon.
I have worked in three different depts, SA, Feds and now QPS.
I have also worked in Comms and have some good advice for you but not enough time now. Will PM you later.
Cheers

Nice. My wife is into QH's and my best mate, Mick, is an equine vet and into cutting.
Mick and I used to ride bulls back in the day.
My wife is originally from NSW and trained horses back when she was younger.
Our wedding photo....her old bay mare, Miss Spanish Doll, and pally gelding Dusty (I think he is some Docs something or other)

Nice photo, Very country & rustic looking,
Qh's are nice, My Brother has a mare with Hollywood Return lineage, lovely mare & a good worker.
I prefer the Ash x, though as I think they have a bit more willing to please, easy going attitude :smile5: but that's just my opinion.
Yeah, there are a few "Doc" names in the horse linage, Doc Spinifex & Doc Freckles to mention some.

I am reluctant to say too much in an open forum as my views of your local dept (which yes, is who I work with too) especially in relation to Comms areas, is somewhat mixed and may be taken as negative. It is not intended that way, but sometimes the written word can be taken the wrong way.
I will pm you.
