Wondering if anyone knows the status of DHS' budget issues and when they are projecting to hire again for the SA position. Just called over and they said the announcement planned for Jan 17th was postponed indefinitely, which I think was already postponed a few months.

Every federal agency is on hold with spending until a budget is passed. Thsi great President who has put us in more debt in his 2 years than every other Prseident combined since George Washington is doing a number on teh country and the government.

By the way, in his world there is no need for ICE. He thinks we should be letting everyone in.

Hey now, that's isn't exactly correct.

It would affect ICE - ERO, far more than it would effect ICE - HSI. Where as ERO is all immigration, all the time. HSI's world doesn't revolve entirely around immigration, there being other crimes of which our attention is drawn, with no nexus to immigration.

Big,

He got his grandma off off illegal charges. Won't secure the borders. And is stopping law enforcement on many levels form enforcing the rules. Here illegally? No problem with O in the White House...in fact, he wants to give you a free eductaion, healthcare and benefits. I still think ICE is the one agency he would can off the books if he could. he has "unofficially" limted you folks (financially and with enforcement power). I hope the next guy or girl lets you folks do your job.

From what I heard is the delay is not due to budget but to the demise of the FCIP program. Basically the requirements for the job need to be re-written and approved. Either way it will probably be a few months.

Oh and Joey, I totally agree with you on stopping enforcement. I see it all the time.
