There is a reason this was homework and you were asked to interview somebody. Being able to verbally comminucate and arrange your scheudle to meet is a factor of the asisgnment.

Posting them here, having somebody type an answer you can copy and paste is actually a form of cheating.

I am sure there is more than one detective or cop in your area. Pick-up teh phone and call teh station or better yet, just go there and ask a cop for ten minutes of his time. Nobody here is going to do your homework for you.

If this was done in person , it would have been more thorough AND I would give you my name and dept name. On line , this is all you get.

Which may well be, detectives don't sit around their department office waiting for calls to come in from CJ students. Not trying to be harsh, but that's the reality. I've heard it said before that if you want a job, go in person to fill out the application, as many jobs will take the time to offer you an interview if they are hiring if you show up in person. Same theory applies here. If all you do is anonymously call, you're not doing much to help your situation. However, if you take the time to go in person to the department and ask to speak to an officer or detective that's available, you'll probably have an easier time of speaking to someone since you took the initiative to show up and talk to them in person.

Too many to list

Relax in front of the computer with music and/or the spell checker.
5. What do you enjoy about the work? and the least?

It's varied and complex

Hiring has slowed substantially

Oh, and I'm not a LEO and the answers pertain to my profession. It's probably better to interview LEO's in person. They have badges and guns and are easier to spot in person than on the internet. It's pretty lazy to try to pass off anonymous questions on the internet as an "interview." I hope you disclose how you got the information in your report regardless which route you choose.
