Curious to know if a PA LTCF is in anyway attached to the PA DL info when a plate is run.
Thanks and be safe out there...:coolgleamA:

Thanks mcsap... I would think it would be beneficial when approaching a vehicle during a stop, and PA LTCF law does not require you to inform the officer unless specifically asked if there is any weapons in the passenger compartment. I have an LTCF, and while I haven't got stopped since I acquired it back in 1998, I do travel through multiple townships and boroughs to visit family and friends and always wondered if a plate check would bring up that info and induce a Terry stop.
IMHO, it would be a good idea to let the officer know just in case it somehow becomes exposed accidentally. But you don't have to.
If I happen to see a gun under certain circumstances , you'll shortly see mine.

Roger that mcsap...LTCF is right next to DL, registration and proof of insurance. Thanks for input.

Why wouldn't you always tell them when they come up to the car?
