Eight illegal immigrants caught during traffic stop. Had weapons and ballistic vests.
Officers find possible home-invasion crew in Phoenix (http://www.azcentral.com/community/phoenix/articles/2010/10/30/20101030phoenix-home-invasion-crew-arrested.html)
Home invasion is likely their primary function but not sure who they are taking down. Spokesman said they did cartel work but weren't directly associated with a cartel.
My personal opinion (and if you add a couple bucks to thatm you can get coffee) is that they take down drug houses, drop houses and hijackings for cartels and their own profit. Probably do kidnappings as well. I suspect a large majority of their vicitms are also illegal immigrants.
I'm not sure why the reporter writes "illegal immigrant" as "all the suspects entered the country from Mexico without proper documentation." It's almost like he is purposely trying to thwart search engines.
