The inquest heard Emergency nurse Clinton Lawrey talk of the injuries inflicted on 22-month-old Kara Compton by the Bunyip family's dingo-labrador cross were "horrific''.
The toddler, who had Down syndrome, died after the family's dog attacked her in her bedroom on February 1, 2006.
